These hipster wines get their name from the color tone of the finished product after a longer maceration period of the skins with the juice. They tend to be drier, leaner, and a bit tannic compared to those traditionally produced. Tète Orange NV Les Têtes – $34.99
This blend of Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc from Loire Valley is clean and bright with flavors of stone fruit and citrus. This is a great companion to Sunday Brunch!
Vegas Atlas 2021 Orange Wine – $19.99
This Spanish blend of indigenous grapes (50% Cayetana and 50% Pardina) from the region of Extremadura is organic, unfiltered and unfined with expressive aromas of pear and apple and a hint of anise. It’s a good gateway Orange with its sweet touch, dry finish and slight bitterness on the finish. Aged in Amphora to give it its stunning color!
Cala 2022 Terre Siciliane Orange Wine – $24.99
100% Cattaratto from Sicily! Tangerine, cantaloupe, candied ginger, orange marmalade, almond husk, and honeycomb on the nose… Legit, they’re all in there! On the pallet it has a rich texture, but lifting acidity on the finish. Don’t let those flavor nose for you, it’s still bone dry!
